OUR BEER
Our beers begin with carefully selected ingredients. Our brewing process is rooted in traditional techniques with a keen eye toward innovation.
we love beer
Like, really, REALLY love beer. On our days off, you may find us here shucking coastal Carolina oysters for a new brew we’ve been dreaming up. Some nights we stay late after closing to have a few and brainstorm some new ideas. We have a lot of fun with it and we think that it shows in our product. It takes a special brew to get us excited enough to bring it to our menu, but it’s well worth it when we’re able to share it with you. Beer makes us happy and it’s as simple as that. We think it just might make you happy too.
Menu
We try to keep our online menu as updated as possible. Because we use fresh, seasonal ingredients, they are subject to change.
QUALITY CONTROL
We’ve invested in top-of-the-line (and frankly, VERY expensive) equipment to ensure we’re crafting the very best beer that we can make. Our brewing process involves malting, milling, mashing, extract separation, hop addition and boiling, removal of hops and precipitates, cooling and aeration, fermentation, separation of yeast from young beer, aging, and maturing (but honestly, it’s way more fun than that sounds). We take great pride in our work and we think it shows. Come in and try one and see for yourself. We’re sure you won’t regret it.
“The beer here is incredible! I get so tired of going to a brewery with 12 kinds of IPAs and really appreciated the unique and high gravity beers that can be found here. The atmosphere is great and the bartenders are so friendly and knowledgeable.“

“Standard may be one of my favorite spots in Raleigh. It has the vibe I’ve been looking for in a Brewery and restaurant. And really awesome beer called Howdy Y’all, which is inspired by ranch water. It’s got a little bit of lime, agave, and just the best taste around.“

“I visited here before the kitchen opened and I knew it was a place to be excited about. Their beer is just excellent – and they feature a welcome selection of lagers as opposed to the infinite IPAs every other local brewery seems to lean on“
